Q: Which option should I chose? once a day, twice a day or overnight?
A: most all cats will be just fine with once a day drop ins. I recommend twice a day if you have kitties that really crave human interaction, new kittens that may get into lots of trouble while you are away, or if you will be gone for more than a few days. Overnights are pretty rare, but are good for if you are going to be away for a week or more and would like me to do other things such as light cleaning etc. Overnights are limited to homes that are 15min or less from my work as I work odd hours, unless you want an overnight on my off days.

Q: What is included in a drop in?
A: I come in and give fresh water, keep dry food bowl full and give wet food. I scoop out/clean litter box and give some playtime, or lap time. I can also bring in the mail, water plants etc.

Q: Will you care for pets other than cats?
A: I am happy to take care of other small animals/reptiles along with your kitties. I do not however do dogs.

Q: What determines the "starting at" rate?
A: Basically, distance from my home/work is the biggest factor. As long as you are within about 15-20min, the starting at rates will apply. The other possible factor can be number of animals or more involved tasks such as light cleaning etc. Any extra charges will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes I am!! I have special pet sitters insurance through Pet Care Insurnace.

Q: What's the booking process?
A: Once you reach out to me we'll start with some basic questions such as your location and dates needed so I can get a price quote for you. Once we have agreed to move forward, we will set up a meet and greet. This is where I will come over, meet you and your kitties, go over what you would like me to do during my visit and fill out some paperwork. Paperwork includes written instructions, emergency contact info, vet info, and pet info. This is also when you will give me key/code to get into the home. Expect to spend about 45min for this meet and greet.

Q: How do I pay you?
A: I accept cash, venmo or paypal. You can pay prior to the first sitting day or have cash sitting on table for me when I make the first visit, whichever is easiest for you!

Q: You mentioned being a pet photographer and will take photos while dropping in, how does that work and can I get a print of the photo you take?
A: Yes! I am also a professional pet photographer and will bring my camera along to the drop in. as long as your cat doesn't totally hide under the bed or something during my visits, I will capture a photograph for you. I will send you a digital copy of the photo to your email. This will be a smaller file size meant for posting to social media etc. If you love it so much you want an actual print, you can order professional art prints through me, or maybe you even want to book a full session. You can visit my website at www.atomicpetphotography.com for more information on booking a session!
